Rome has a long history for it’s love of entertaining an theatre. Many years ago they presented their theatricals out doors where many would come to a big open area or park land to view the display of entertainment on offer.
This was a great outing for the locals but the noise from the people standing around often alluded the stage performances on offer. Today however, things have taken a drastic change with theatricals and bands performing indoors.
In St Peters Square, there is a 600 seat centre which now houses some of the worlds most well known entertainment. In the Teatro Dell’ Opera you can also take in some of the most breathtaking views a theatre has to offer.
Music bands and opera and classical acts often book here for their venues and is normally to a sold out crowd. In many years gone by, the dress code was of casual assortment due to the weather and standing room only.
Now days, there is a more official dress code of conduct expected when you enter one of the many theatres around Rome. Cocktail attire or night time dress codes are to be expected and enclosed shoes must be worn at all times. There are eateries surrounding the theatres so you may wish to dine before the show.
Many buses and other modes of transportation are on offer to get you safely to and from these places, or you may wish to hire a more formal mode of transportation to get you to your nightly event. Either way, you will be sure to have the time of your life at one of the theatres viewing a variety of shows that are on offer every night of the week.
